That is the downside to shipping pro-spray, if both colors are here in front of me i can usually tint it rather quickly. Every once in a while i'll get a color that needs to be tinted myself..

Understandable Chad, no way you could know, when you don't have anything to match to, and are just mixing by code. I was disappointed mostly in the pearl or metallic, compared to the original, not so much with the fact it was a little lighter, and not all upset with you chad. But with any paint line you can have issues with a certain color. Still blows other basecoats out of the water ithat are in the same price range.

The yellow was much better then the spiral grey, very close to being dead nuts on. I actually shot a test card before hand this time. In fact I didn't end up with much room to blend into the original, and had to paint the whole bottom part of the door, which is right next to the rocker which I didn't shoot and really couldn't tell much of a difference(specially someone who doesn't look at color and match all the time). Took probably 5 coats to get good coverage, but think thats pretty much the nature of yellow I guess.

Thanks again for your help getting me the supplies I needed Chad. Sure I'll be dialing you up again sometime in the future. I know you said one time you don't always get feedback on how people you've helped projects turned out. Well both turned out fine, at least the relatives were happy. Put before and after pics of the door on my brothers yellow truck in the recent epoxy thread about shooting it in cold weather.
